Life in the Digital Age

Just discovered this amazing new synthesis of cyberpunk aesthetics and Y2K nostalgia. The internet used to be so much more personal, you know? Every site was someone's unique creation, not just another template.

Been thinking a lot about how we used to express ourselves online. Remember when websites had personality? When you could tell who made a site just by looking at it? Those were the days when the web felt more like a neighborhood than a shopping mall.

I'm on a mission to bring back that energy. This site is my attempt at recapturing what made the old internet special - the creativity, the weirdness, the personal touch that's been lost to corporate homogenization.

Retro Computing Vibes

Started collecting old tech again. Found a CRT monitor at a thrift store and it's BEAUTIFUL. The scanlines, the slight hum, the warmth of the glass... modern displays just don't hit the same.

Also got into mechanical keyboards lately. There's something satisfying about the tactile feedback that makes writing feel more... real? Like my thoughts have weight when I hear that click-clack.

Maybe I'm just nostalgic, but I think there's value in appreciating the technology that got us here. Every beige tower and chunky monitor represents someone's dream of the future.

Creative Experiments

Been experimenting with pixel art and lo-fi graphics. There's a certain charm to working within limitations. When you only have 16 colors, every choice matters more.

Also trying to revive some old web design techniques. Tables for layout? Sure! Animated GIFs everywhere? Absolutely! Sometimes the best way forward is to look back at what we left behind.
